The following is an excerpt of Mike Malloy's radio show. Thirteen miners were trapped in a coal mine. The media had just reported that 12 of the 13 were found alive. Elated family and friends celebrated as did the media. The media interviewed a representative of the miner's district who praised the 'all mighty' for answering their prayers. After that interview I emailed Mike and went to bed.

The next morning it was announced that only 1 of 13 were found alive. Evidently there was a heartbreaking miscommunication. But the question still persists, what did God do or didn't do in this case. Does prayer do anything other than relieve the mind. It is my opinion that praying does nothing because a God as outlined in the Bible does not exist.
